EU banks vulnerable to climate-change risks

EU banks have carried out little to adapt to new environmental, social, and governance-related (ESG) risks, in accordance to US asset-management agency BlackRock in a report tasked by the European Fee, Reuters experiences. Implementation of recent ESG measures “needs to be accelerated”, it mentioned. Consciousness of ESG risks in lending coverage and stress testing was typically “superficially” utilized, “limited … in scope”, and “at an early stage”, it added.
