Lovers Point Beach closed until Saturday after shark attack leaves man seriously injured, Pacific Grove police say

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (KGO) — Lovers Point Beach in Pacific Grove is closed until Saturday after a swimmer was attacked by a shark Wednesday morning, in response to police.

Emergency personnel responded to the seashore round 10:35 a.m. to stories of a shark attack.
