Central Freeway on-ramp in SF reopens, ahead of schedule, Caltrans says

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Caltrans has accomplished repairs on the Central Freeway ramp and it is now again open on Sunday, 24 hours ahead of schedule.

The company closed the connector on Friday at 10p.m. and it was initially speculated to reopen on Monday at 5a.m.

The on-ramp connects westbound Interstate 80 and northbound Freeway 101.

Crews changed a guardrail broken by a big-rig final October.

The seventh avenue on-ramp onto 80 has additionally reopened Sunday morning.
