In Ethiopia, the conflict in Tigray continues in the south of the region. Forces of the TPLF, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front, are trying to reclaim the territories in the Amhara region.
Since the start of the war, the amharas have been of considerable support to the Ethiopian army. Consequence: they have recovered land from which they claim to have been unfairly evicted 30 years ago by the TPLF.
Our guest tonight is an African dancer and choreographer, arguably one of the most gifted of his generation. The Burkinabé Salia Sanou is currently in Montpellier, where he has just presented his new show, ‘From a dream’: a comedy danced to the music of Lokua Kanza and the texts of Gaël Faye.
